Valve Clinic
Our Valve Clinic, part of the Cardiovascular Center in National Taiwan University Hospital, welcomes patients with valvular heart disease. The Valve Clinic brings together the expertise of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac interventionists and cardiac imaging specialists to diagnose and treat complex valvular disease. Our specialists have extensive expertise in the catheter-based procedures and open surgical techniques used to treat every valve in the heart.
Integrated Care Clinic
Integrated Care Clinic provides integrated care for multi-morbid patients by conducting medication reconciliation and determining the necessity of medical examinations to reduce medical expenses, decrease the frequency of outpatient visits, and improve the quality of chronic care. Multi-morbid conditions include metabolic syndrome (i.e., diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia) and chronic illnesses (e.g., chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, heart disease). We suggest that,
-Ambulatory patients with two long-term prescriptions for stable diseases or those taking more than 10 medications could visit the Integrated Care Clinic.
-Bedridden patients who are unable to visit the clinic are encouraged to utilize home care services.
Adolescent Friendly Clinic
1. Issues related to adolescent growth and development, psychological adjustment, health examination, vaccines, weight control, sex, smoking and others.
2. Issues related to adolescent metabolic syndrome, growth and development, emotional and adaptive disorders, health examinations, vaccines, etc.
3. Psychological assessment, consulting and psychotherapy (children with autism, ADHD, or learning and emotional distress), parenting education and parent-child communication, adaptation to stress, disease adaptation and emotional adaptation; interpersonal communication and emotional relationships; self-exploration.
4. ADHD, autism, emotional and behavioral problems, developmental learning disabilities, and various mental disorders that are common in children and adolescents.
5. Gynecological problems related to adolescents.
Oral Health Care Center for Special Needs
The patients eligible for consultation are limited to those holding disability certificates or documentation, and are not suitable for treatment in general dental clinics.
Advance Care Planning
General Medicine
This advance care planning consultation is self-pay, and not covered by health insurance.
In addition to your own attendance, two witnesses must accompany anyone wishing to participate in the counseling session on the same day (it is recommended that one of them be a relative within the second degree of kinship). If a healthcare proxy has been appointed, your healthcare proxy must also be present.
In addition to the required attendees mentioned above, other relatives may also attend with your consent, considering venue constraints, with a maximum of six people.
The counseling session will take place at the Advance Care Planning Consultation Room, located at West Site (Old Hospital Area), 2nd floor, Area 4-West.
The counseling process takes 60 minutes, with check-in times as follows: For the morning sessions, the first group starts at 09:00, the second at 10:00, and the third at 11:00; for the afternoon sessions, the first group starts at 13:30, the second at 14:30, and the third at 15:30.

    ◎Morning session: Available from 18:00 on the day before consultation till 10:30 on the day of consultation
    ◎Afternoon session: Schedule from 18:00 on the day before consultation till 15:00 on the day of consultation
    (Ex. For appointment on Oct. 15th, please make an appointment at 18:00 on Oct. 14th.)
